Scar revision surgery

Scars are visible signs that occur after mechanical trauma, chemical and heat (cold) burns, surgery. Scar revision surgery technique depends of the nature, shape, size, and depth of a scar, involving dermabrasion (mechanical polishing of the skin), injections, or surgical treatment.

The procedure can take 1 to 3 hours with local or general anesthesia applied. Sutures are usually removed several days after the surgery. Infection or bleeding cases are rare.
