Scars are visible signs that occur after mechanical trauma, chemical and heat (cold) burns, surgery. Scar revision surgery technique depends of the nature, shape, size, and depth of a scar, involving dermabrasion (mechanical polishing of the skin), injections, or surgical treatment.
The procedure can take 1 to 3 hours with local or general anesthesia applied. Sutures are usually removed several days after the surgery. Infection or bleeding cases are rare.Go back
