Nose surgery

Human nose is the central part of the face with its form causing your facial expression. Rhinoplasty or nose surgery is made to correct the shape and size of a nose, remove traumatic or congenital defects posing difficulties in in the nasal respiratory function. The surgery is for:

General anesthesia is applied, with surgery duration of 2–4 hours. Surgery may be performed using two different techniques:
Closed rhinoplasty, featuring exclusively internal incisions with no visible scarring after surgery.
Open rhinoplasty when an incision is made across columella, extending to nostrils on both sides. After surgery a small scar of several millimeters remains in the area of columella.
