Tummy tuck surgery

A tummy tuck or abdominoplasty is the surgery procedure used not only to remove the excess skin and fat but to tighten the muscle of the abdominal wall too. The surgery involves removal of excess skin and fat of the abdominal wall and the umbilicus relocation.

• Heavy work and sports to be avoided for 4 to 6 weeks
• Special supportive abdominal binder or compression garment to be worn for 6 weeks after the surgery
